Blur Season 2 Airdrop: Everything you Need to Know

Due to the overwhelming response to Blur’s first airdrop, the cryptocurrency community is counting down the days until the April 30th deadline for Season 2 Airdrop.

The new NFT marketplace Blur recently held an airdrop worth over $1,500, and since their much-touted airdrop, the BLUR tokens have already amassed over $500 million in trade volume. On the other hand, the Blur team has stated that the airdrop will return for a second season, with a 100% rise in listing points and a 100% increase in bidding points until April 1st, 2023.

Blur Season 2 Airdrop Is Upcoming

Following the tremendous success of the first Blur airdrop, a second round is being conducted with the hope of convincing more people to start using the brand new NFT platform. Distributing free tokens or coins to a large audience is a common type of promotion utilized by cryptocurrency companies in the form of “airdrops.”

The BLUR team has released the following statement regarding the impending airdrop:

The first season was only the pilot. More is on the way. Even though we don’t know what the Season 2 awards will be just yet, we can tell you that for the next 30 days, all listing and bidding points are quadrupled. There will be a 100% increase in the value of all bids and listings until April 1.

The company’s first airdrop was sending a “Care Package” comprising a certain number of BLUR tokens to users who have traded NFTs on the platform within the preceding six months. According to Blur’s loyalty program, the chances of obtaining extremely rare Care Packages containing much more tokens rely on the user’s luck when opening these Care Packages. More BLUR tokens will be distributed if the average level of loyalty remains high throughout the airdrop campaign.

Blur Airdrop Review

The airdrop for Season 2 Blur content requires both “Listing Points” and “Bid Points” from users. With each point a user earns, he or she has a slightly better chance of obtaining an airdrop. The Blur development team hinted at several more uses for airdrops. Listing on other NFT markets through Blur, listing a minimum of three sweeps on Blur, and listing more NFT collections are all recommended activities before Airdrop 2 occurs.

More than that, the Blur Bidding Pools have reached an all-time high of $132.65M TVL, which is over 2.4 times the TVL for Aptos and 0.5 times the TVL for Solana. Moreover, Blur has eclipsed Uniswap and Seaport in terms of gas usage to become Ethereum’s most popular protocol. Since the new market was made available to consumers, the OpenSea platform has been facing concern as a result.

Because of this, OpenSea has introduced certain upgrades to its platform, which many see as unmistakable proof that Blur is strengthening its position as the industry leader in NFTs trading. Hence, the value of Blur’s native token has skyrocketed. According to CoinMarketCap, the price of Blur (BLUR) as of writing is $14.23, representing a decline of 1.57% over the past 24 hours but a gain of 4.31% over the last seven days.
