BIM (BIM) runs on the Base network, an Ethereum Layer 2 that inherits Ethereum's proof-of-stake (PoS) security while offering faster and cheaper transactions. Because Base is PoS, there is no mining and no energy-intensive issuance. Instead, BIM supply is fixed: the token is capped at 30M, and the circulating supply stands at 30M.
Staking for BIM was introduced in Q1 2023 and has since rolled out across Polygon, Base, Gnosis, Optimism, Ethereum and Plasma. Staking vaults are built on Beefy yield-aggregation infrastructure, including Beefy Vault and Beefy Vault V3, with a Zap function. Locking BIM in these vaults temporarily removes tokens from liquid circulation, which can tighten available float and support price when demand rises.
Supply was also cut sharply: in April 2024 the DAO voted to reduce supply by 90%, a deflationary change that makes BIM scarcer over time. Combined with staking lock-ups, this supply structure is a key long-term driver for BIM price.
BIM (BIM) is the governance token of BIM DAO and the asset that links all BIM Finance stakeholders. The protocol is an aggregator of DEX aggregators: it routes swaps and bridges through sources such as KyberSwap, Bungee and SocketDotTech, so users get the best available rate from a single interface.
Network upgrades matter because they expand where BIM can be used. BIM Exchange evolved from V1 in Q4 2022 to V4 in Q4 2025, adding cross-chain bridging in 2024, Solana integration, bonds in early 2026, and non-EVM bridging for Bitcoin, Monero, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Zcash. Each upgrade widens the addressable market and can increase fee flow.
Gas fees are largely inherited from Base, an Ethereum L2 designed for faster, cheaper transactions. Lower fees make small swaps and bridges viable, which raises aggregator volume. As aggregator activity and protocol revenue grow, a portion of revenue funds incentive programs for BIM holders, directly linking ecosystem growth to BIM demand.
A spot ETF is a regulated fund that holds the underlying asset and issues shares that trade on traditional stock exchanges. If a BIM (BIM) spot ETF were approved, it would let institutions and retail investors gain BIM exposure through standard brokerage accounts, without managing wallets, private keys or self-custody.
For BIM, sustained institutional inflows would likely improve three things: liquidity, because ETF creation adds steady buy-side volume; legitimacy, because regulated vehicles signal broader acceptance; and the price floor, because long-term holders tend to reduce free float. Today BIM trades with a market cap of $54.488992M and 24h volume of $263.646239K, so even moderate institutional allocations could move the market.
No BIM spot ETF is confirmed in the current materials, so this remains a potential catalyst rather than a certainty. Institutional adoption can also arrive through exchange listings, custody support and DAO governance participation, all of which raise BIM's profile.
BIM (BIM) and Bitcoin (BTC) serve very different roles. BIM is a governance token for a DeFi aggregator, while BTC is the largest cryptocurrency and a store-of-value asset. The table below summarizes the main differences.
| Dimension | BIM (BIM) | Bitcoin (BTC) |
|---|---|---|
| Core Positioning | Governance token of a DeFi aggregator | Decentralized store of value |
| Supply Model | Capped at 30M; 90% cut in April 2024 | Capped at 21 million; halving schedule |
| Consensus | PoS via Base (Ethereum L2) | Proof of Work |
| Main Use Cases | DAO voting, staking, fee incentives | Payments, reserve asset, ETF exposure |
BIM offers governance rights and revenue-linked incentives but carries higher volatility and smaller liquidity. BTC offers deeper markets and institutional access. Many investors treat them as complementary rather than competing holdings.
On BTCC, you can attach stop-loss (SL) and take-profit (TP) orders to any BIM/USDT perpetual contract position. The goal is to cap downside and lock in gains automatically.
Always size positions so the distance to your SL matches your risk tolerance. BTCC supports SL/TP and trailing stop tools directly on the BIM/USDT contract page.
The current price of BIM (BIM) is $1.804077, with a market cap of $54.488992M and 24h trading volume of $263.646239K. The circulating supply is 30M (max supply 30M).
These figures update in real time, so the numbers you see on BTCC may differ slightly from other data providers. For the most accurate live view, open the BIM/USDT perpetual contract page on BTCC and check the order book, recent trades and funding rate.
Watching price, market cap and volume together helps you judge liquidity and momentum before entering a trade.
BIM (BIM) price is shaped by three layers of drivers.
Because BIM is the governance token of BIM DAO, its value is also tied to protocol revenue and incentive programs paid to holders. When activity and revenue rise, demand for BIM tends to follow.
The all-time high of BIM (BIM) is $15.18285, reached on 2023-08-30 19:30; the all-time low is $0.086063, recorded on 2024-10-16 12:15.
These extremes mark the full range BIM has traded through since launch. Comparing the current price of $1.804077 to the ATH and ATL helps you gauge where the market sits in its cycle and how much volatility the token has historically shown.
For a complete view, open the BIM/USDT chart on BTCC and inspect the full-cycle price history, including volume and moving averages.
Reading BIM (BIM) candlesticks starts with the anatomy of each candle. The body shows the open and close, while the wicks (shadows) show the high and low. A long body means strong momentum; a long wick suggests rejection at that price.
Combine these signals on the BIM/USDT chart on BTCC before placing a trade, and always confirm with your stop-loss plan.
You can profit from a falling BIM (BIM) price without holding spot. On BTCC, open a short position on the BIM/USDT perpetual contract at a high price, then close it (buy back) at a lower price. The difference is your profit.
Short selling gives you two-way trading opportunities: you can go long when you expect BIM to rise, or short when you expect it to fall or pull back. This is especially useful in bear markets or during corrections, when spot holders may be losing value.
Always use a stop-loss above your entry to limit risk if price moves against you, and monitor funding rates on the BIM/USDT contract, since they can affect the cost of holding a short.
Yes. BTCC offers flexible leverage on BIM (BIM) perpetual contracts, up to 50x on the BIM/USDT pair, subject to platform risk rules and your account tier.
Leverage magnifies both gains and losses. A small adverse move can trigger liquidation if your margin is thin, so it should be used with a clear risk plan. Beginners are generally advised to start at 2x–10x and to always set a strict stop-loss.
Before increasing leverage, practice on the BTCC demo account, where you can test position sizing and SL/TP behavior with virtual funds under real BIM market data.
After registering on BTCC, switch to Demo Trading mode to receive virtual funds (for example, 100,000 USDT) and practice BIM (BIM) trading in a risk-free environment. The demo uses real BIM market data, so prices, candles and order behavior mirror the live market.
In demo mode you can practice leverage adjustment, market and limit orders, and TP/SL placement on the BIM/USDT perpetual contract. This helps you build familiarity with the interface and test strategies before committing real capital.
Once you are comfortable, you can move to live trading with a small position size and strict risk controls.
Follow these four steps to buy and trade BIM (BIM) on BTCC:
Start with a small position and low leverage while you learn how BIM moves. The BIM/USDT contract lets you trade both directions, so you can express a bullish or bearish view. Always use stop-loss orders to manage risk.
