Binance visa card add supports for XRP, SHIB and AVAX

The Binance Card is a vehicle that allows the holders of different cryptocurrencies to switch and use their cryptocurrency holdings in over 60 million online and physical stores. However, this card is only available in Europe. and the Ukrainian refugees.

Prior to the Russian invasion of Ukraine earlier this year, Binance had planned to extend the card’s coverage to Ukraine by the end of this year. However, after the invasion, there is no clear indication whether Binance will still continue its plans to extend the card’s use to Ukraine.

The Binance visa card now supports 14 cryptocurrencies after the latest addition of these 3 tokens. The supported cryptocurrencies include Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Tether (USDTY), BNB, Cardano (ADA), Polkadot (DOT), Avalanche (AVAX), Shiba Inu (SHIB), FC Porto Fan Token (PORTO), S.S. Lazio Fan Token (LAZIO), Santos FC Fan Token (SANTOS) and Swipe (SXP).

The addition of these new cryptocurrencies will not affect the current payment preferences of users who have already started using the card. The Binance Visa Card has been adopted because it offers convenience to users who want to use cryptocurrencies as a means of payment in a convenient way.

Binance and MasterCard partnership

The latest addition of these three new cryptocurrencies to the Binance Card follows the announcement of a partnership between Binance and MasterCard. The partnership will allow Binance to bring its prepaid cards to Argentina.

Binance and MasterCard will work together to increase the payment options available to Binance users in Argentina. Argentine customers will have the opportunity to make purchases and withdrawals using Bitcoin, BNB and other cryptocurrencies on all platforms launched by MasterCard.

Earlier this year, Wirex announced the addition of AVAX to the list of supported cryptocurrencies in its crypto cards. Wirex is a platform that gives users the opportunity to make payments using 61 different digital assets, including fiat and cryptocurrencies.

Binance is not the only cryptocurrency company to work with Mastercard. Nexo also announced a partnership with Mastercard in 2019. This partnership has been fruitful after Nexo launched crypto cards that can be used by residents of several European countries.
