Hyperliquid Assistance Fund Accumulates Over 48 Million HYPE, Holdings Value Rises to About $3.953 Billion

Odaily News: The Hyperliquid Assistance Fund has accumulated over 48 million HYPE tokens, with a total cost of about $1.365 billion. The market value of these tokens has now risen to about $3.953 billion. The fund continuously buys back HYPE from the open market mainly through protocol trading fee revenue, as a mechanism for the protocol to return value to token holders. Recently, Hyperliquid also injected part of its USDC reserve yield into the Assistance Fund through the AQAv2 framework to expand the source of buyback funds, so that buybacks no longer rely entirely on trading fees.
