Polymarket Odds of Trump Officially Renaming AI by Dec. 31 Rise to 66%, Up 17% in a Week
OdailyPPP prediction market tool monitoring shows that Polymarket's probability of "Trump officially renaming AI by Dec. 31" has risen to 66%, up 17% in a single week.
According to the settlement rules, Trump must, before 11:59 p.m. ET on the specified date, formally adopt a new official name for "AI" or require the federal government to adopt a new name through an executive order, presidential proclamation, or presidential memorandum. Public statements, speeches, interviews, press conferences, and social media posts do not count.
Earlier reports said that Trump, in a speech at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, reiterated his opposition to regulating artificial intelligence (AI). At the same time, he argued that the term "artificial intelligence" underestimates the value of the technology and said he hopes countries around the world will also adopt the new name "Super Intelligence."
