Data: $30.2B in RWA Still Outside DeFi, On-Chain Asset Utilization at Just 11%

Odaily News: According to DeFiLlama data, as of September 18, on-chain real-world assets (RWA) under management totaled approximately $34 billion, of which only about 11.3% was deployed in DeFi, corresponding to a total value locked (TVL) of roughly $3.84 billion, while the remaining approximately 89% has yet to enter DeFi.

Deployed capital is highly concentrated: private credit accounts for 58% with a TVL of about $2.22 billion; bonds, commodities, and equities account for approximately $817 million, $314 million, and $287 million, respectively. These four asset categories together represent nearly 95% of RWA DeFi TVL.
