Flipper One's Wireless Transmission Exceeds 150 km, Technology Can Be Used to Send Bitcoin Transactions
Odaily News: Bitcoin News posted on X that Flipper's upcoming LoRa module can send messages through a radio repeater network without relying on the internet. In a test in London, messages were transmitted over 150 km via the MeshCore network.
The technology can be used to send Bitcoin transactions: signed Bitcoin transaction data can be transmitted via LoRa radio and repeaters to a gateway connected to a Bitcoin node, which then broadcasts it to the network. When the local internet connection is down, users can send transactions this way.
