Flam, a Social Company, Will Recruit Through its Oneabove Metaverse Platform

Flam, a social vitality company, said on Monday that it had realized the recruitment experience of on-demand recruitment in the vitality field through its one above platform, which it claimed was the first of its kind. As part of its development strategy, in the next six months, the company will recruit about 80-100 middle and senior employees in various departments, focusing on product, engineering, design and technical positions.
The Design of the Platform
Oneabove is the company’s internal meta recruitment platform, which is planned by a team of 25 employees with an investment of $50000 within 30 days. The company said that the design of the platform represents the workplace and culture of flame. It can host a meeting of 50 people at the same time. The company hopes to let all incoming candidates experience metadata first-hand. Flam is also negotiating with colleges to help students understand the metauniverse.
“Oneabove aims to enhance our employee experience and try to eliminate any form of bias. The platform will span the 3E’s in the recruitment process, namely excitement, experience and evaluation of candidates, which is different from ordinary interviews,” Shourya Agarwal, CEO and co-founder of flame, said in a statement.

The Process of Recruitment
After registering on flame’s career website, the candidate will be sent a link to oneabove platform. Candidates do not need any additional hardware equipment. They can use laptops or desktops to enter metaverse. At the beginning of the journey, the interviewer will log on to the platform and choose his / her avatar from more than 45 avatars to interact with the recruiter. At the entrance, they will see a virtual hall with flam human resources team. They will guide them to the stage. Each round of walk-in interview will have up to 15 candidates in the hall at the same time.
Flam said that each candidate will be asked to introduce himself on the stage. The candidate will be able to share his / her screen, present presentations, and even turn on the camera to show his / her true self. A reaction function is also installed to allow participants to share their reactions after each speech. Audio, video, etc. can be embedded in any external scene.
“The shortlisted candidates will be summoned to have one-on-one interview rounds with department heads. Each room is designed according to the work route. For example, the design room will have a sense of art, and the technology room will show a subject proficient in technology,” the company said.
