Solana has also had a deep red day in the markets, crashing by 7.9% to hit $235. Still, Solana investors can console themselves with the 25% green monthly candle that is still in play, as well as rumors that Solana will also soon receive its own spot ETF fund.  

Like Ripple, numerous firms have filed for a Solana ETF with the SEC, injecting hope that Solana will follow Bitcoin and Ethereum in launching its Wall Street-traded fund this year. It is not hard to imagine a $400 Solana price tag if the market sees approval in 2025.

This filing was confirmed by its chief investment officer, Matt Hougan, and represents the first step in what would be a historic meme coin ETF approval.  

The market cap of Dogecoin is now just short of $48 billion as it has fallen to 8th place in the rankings. Dogecoin dropped by 8% today to hit $0.32 though Dogecoin investors anticipate huge returns in 2025.
