Global leaders to gather in Davos to explore blockchain and digital asset innovations

Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC), the world’s largest leading industry association for blockchain and digital assets, is convening stakeholders from across blockchain, digital assets, technology, and government in Davos, Switzerland for GBBC’s 8th Annual Blockchain Central Davos

From January 20-23, 2025, GBBC’s Blockchain Central Davos will unite diverse industry leaders to explore digital trust and its intersections with education, market investment, climate finance, global regulation, and more. Learn more about the event here.

Notable speakers will include representatives from Pearson, Hedera, Ripple, Hashed, Chainalysis, Ava Labs, Taxbit, Zodia Custody, Polymesh, Filecoin Foundation, Steptoe, Digital Token Identifier Foundation (DTIF), Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA), CAG, DAIS, The World Bank, Citi, UN World Food Programme (WFP) Innovation Accelerator, and more. Regulators and government officials from around the world will also join the programming, including the Government of Liechtenstein, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (U.S. CFTC), and the Government of Telangana.

Launched in Davos in 2017, GBBC is a Swiss-based non-profit with more than 500 institutional members and 301 global ambassadors spanning 117 jurisdictions and disciplines. On GBBC’s eighth year returning to Davos, GBBC CEO Sandra Ro shared:

From the early days as ‘outsiders,’ to taking center stage on the Promenade and beyond, GBBC’s Blockchain Central Davos is an emerging tech pioneer and driving force for blockchain innovation globally.”
