What is Luna (Lunc)?

LUNA is the rebranded version of the “balancer” token that propped up a failed algorithmic stablecoin called UST and was housed on a blockchain protocol called Terra. The old version of LUNA, now known as Luna Classic ( LUNC ), helped maintain the price of UST, a stablecoin pegged to the price of the U.S. dollar.

What is Luna classic?

Luna classic was created to be the native token of the original Terra blockchain. It acted as the twin token that was designed to absorb any price deviation of the blockchain’s algorithmic stablecoin, TerraUSD (UST).
