What is the difference between 'leveraged' and 'levered'?

I hear both terms quite frequently, though it's my understanding that 'leveraged' is technically the accepted term. I tend to use "leverage" as a noun (they used lots of leverage), "leveraged" as an adjective (it' s a highly leveraged transaction) and "levered" as a verb (ie "they levered it up 10x").

What is the difference between a leveraged portfolio and an unleveraged portfolio?

A leveraged portfolio can be considered at high risk as, in case of Loss, the company is liable to pay the interest to the lenders for the borrowed money.
