View ChartStobox Token (STBU) is the native utility and access token of the Stobox ecosystem, a US-based tokenization company focused on the intelligence and tokenization of real-world assets. Since 2018, Stobox has operated as a single provider covering the full lifecycle of tokenized assets, reporting $305M+ in assets structured and supported across 100+ companies in 20+ countries. STBU underpins the operation of Stobox's enterprise-grade tokenization infrastructure and regulated digital asset services, functioning as a unified settlement, access, and incentive layer across Stobox platforms, including Stobox 4, Stobox API, and STV3-powered tokenization environments.
The token has a total and maximum supply of 250,000,000 STBU, a hard cap that is not a forecast of circulating supply. Circulating supply stands at 150,000,000 STBU, or 60% of the total. The project is in a transitional phase: STBU is consolidating from four legacy contracts on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and Arbitrum onto a single immutable contract on Base, a migration that replaces four contracts with one capped, claim-based contract.
Stobox was founded and is led by Gene Deyev, Founder and CEO. Deyev is a co-author of the Stobox Tokenization Framework and the STV3 protocol, and an ERC-7943 backer. He hosts Founder Office Hours live on Zoom on Mondays at 1 PM ET and Thursdays at 2 PM ET. Borys Pikalov and Ross Shemeliak are listed among the masterminds behind the cryptocurrency, bringing a wealth of experience to the project. Stobox is also a Founding Member (Corporate) of the industry body for security-token standards and practice, founded by Randy Goldberg. The Stobox team released its whitepaper in December 2020, outlining the project's vision and technical framework, aiming to create a comprehensive ecosystem for digital assets with a focus on tokenization and compliance.
STBU operates at the centre of the Stobox ecosystem, which is built on the Stobox Protocol (STV3) and the Stobox V3 platform. This advanced protocol is designed to facilitate the tokenization of assets, and STBU serves as the linchpin for transactions and interactions across the suite of blockchain-based services. The token is used to pay for platform subscriptions, token issuance and lifecycle management fees, compliance-related services, oracle updates, and advanced infrastructure features. It also enables prioritized access to tokenization tools, AI-assisted asset structuring, and ecosystem-level services for issuers, service providers, and institutional partners.
The Base migration architecture is central to how STBU now works. One contract on Base replaces the four legacy contracts on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and Arbitrum. It is capped at 250,000,000 and mints only through its claim contract. The migration is 1:1 to a hard maximum supply of 250M. Legacy holders burn on their chain and claim the same amount on Base; burning is permanent and irreversible. The token, the claim contract, and the portal are published in the open under StoboxTechnologies on GitHub.
Stobox is described as a US tokenization company that does both the intelligence that makes an asset defensible and the tokenization that makes it ownable — the structure, the record, and the documents. Since 2018 it has operated as "one company for all six," with $305M+ in assets structured and supported across 100+ companies in 20+ countries. One of the unique aspects of Stobox is its turn-key tokenization services, which streamline the process of converting assets into digital tokens, including the innovative concept of tokenizing time.
The consolidation of STBU onto one immutable, verified contract on Base is described as the honest version of the token: a fixed cap, no owner mint, and every claim. Stobox is a backer of ERC-7943 (uRWA), the Ethereum standard for compliant real-world-asset tokens, and took part in the 2025 roundtable on tokenized securities. Its CertiK rating of 3.8 provides an independent security reference point. The token also aligns long-term incentives within the ecosystem by supporting staking, service-level discounts, and participation in governance and protocol-related initiatives.
STBU is the native utility and access token of the Stobox ecosystem and is used for a range of functions. It pays for platform subscriptions, token issuance and lifecycle management fees, compliance-related services, oracle updates, and advanced infrastructure features. It enables prioritized access to tokenization tools, AI-assisted asset structuring, and ecosystem-level services for issuers, service providers, and institutional partners. In the Stobox Dashboard platform, STBU is employed for governance, rewards, and referrals. It is also used to pay fees and commissions in the DS Swap, with special terms for those who contribute significant value, and it pays for services of the Stobox group at a discount on the list price for each service whose published terms allow payment in STBU.
What a wallet trades through Stobox Terminal counts toward the badge tier of that wallet, which sets the fee rate the Terminal applies to it. Badges and lower pool fees by level come after launch, and the rules are announced before they apply. STBU also supports staking, service-level discounts, and participation in governance and protocol-related initiatives. Importantly, STBU is not equity and not a share of Stobox; the equity is STBX, a regulated security on Arbitrum under its own documents. STBU carries no yield, no dividend, no staking, no governance vote, and no buy-back, and it is not a share in Stobox, not a debt of Stobox, and not a payment instrument.
The Stobox Ecosystem is a comprehensive suite of blockchain-based services. It includes Stobox 4 and the Stobox V3 platform, the Stobox API for developers and issuers, STV3-powered tokenization environments, Stobox Terminal, and Stobox Compass, a tokenized fundraising product where users can run a tokenized capital raise end to end. Compass Lite is live in production today, and the Compass tokenization takes the asset fully on-chain. DS Dashboard is a product of Stobox Technologies where STBU is employed for governance, rewards, and referrals, while DS Swap uses STBU to pay fees and commissions, providing special terms to those who contribute significant value.
The most significant current development is the migration to Base. Four legacy contracts previously held STBU across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and Arbitrum. Before 15 September 2026, holders burn on their origin chain in one transaction, and the indexer records it; nothing is sent to Stobox and nobody takes custody. The burn window closes on 15 September at 00:00 UTC, when the same wallet claims the same amount on the Base contract at stbu.stobox.io. Between 15 and 18 September 2026, Stobox seeds one public STBU/USDT pool on Uniswap v4 with STBU from an approved allocation, claimed through the same claim contract as every holder's. The pool address is published on X and at stbu.stobox.io on the day. Partners, integrations, and listings referenced include Uniswap v4 on Base, Coinbase, Backpack, Maestro Bot, OKX DEX, KyberSwap, BasedBot, and MEXC.
STBU is not a mined cryptocurrency. There is no proof-of-work mining mechanism associated with the token. Instead, the token operates as an ERC-20 asset on Base, with a fixed cap of 250,000,000 STBU and no owner mint. New supply does not enter circulation through mining; the migration mints only through the claim contract, matching amounts burned on legacy chains on a 1:1 basis. Burning is permanent and irreversible, and such token burns are strategic measures aimed at adjusting the supply of Stobox Tokens in circulation, potentially influencing their value.
For holders seeking to participate economically, STBU supports staking, service-level discounts, and participation in governance and protocol-related initiatives. The Stobox Dashboard platform employs STBU for governance, rewards, and referrals. What a wallet trades through Stobox Terminal counts toward the badge tier of that wallet, which sets the fee rate the Terminal applies to it. Those who contribute significant value may receive special terms when paying fees and commissions in the DS Swap. These mechanisms are distinct from traditional mining and do not involve block rewards or hash-based issuance.
Safety begins with verifying the correct contract. The Base contract for STBU is 0xe0c0F44A84CC4a60206360006ebA237a5e8fC2dd. The STBU portal at stbu.stobox.io is a self-custodial software interface: it holds nothing of yours and uses the same login as app.stobox.io. Users should only ever use stbu.stobox.io for claims and swaps. Until the claim opens on 15 September 2026 and the pool between 15 and 18 September, there is no STBU on Base to buy, and anyone offering it is not Stobox. This warning is critical during the migration window, when fraudulent offerings may attempt to exploit user confusion.
Because burning is permanent and irreversible, holders should carefully verify the burn transaction on their origin chain before the window closes on 15 September at 00:00 UTC. The claim on Base must be made from the same wallet that held the burned tokens. For trading, the public STBU/USDT pool on Uniswap v4 is public and anyone can swap in it without going through Stobox; the pool address is published on X and at stbu.stobox.io on the day it opens. The GeckoTerminal GT Security Score for the STBU/USDC pool is 40.3, with the contract verified, no indication of a honeypot, and no proxy found, though users should always conduct their own due diligence. The Stobox community on Telegram answers migration questions before anywhere else, and announcements go to X first. CertiK rates the project 3.8, and the code repositories are open on GitHub under StoboxTechnologies, allowing independent review of the token, the claim contract, and the portal.
