Inferno Drainer Resurfaces—$9M Vanishes from Crypto Wallets in Half a Year

This phishing kit specializes in bypassing wallet security—because apparently ’not your keys, not your coins’ needs an asterisk for ’unless malware steals them first.’

How it works: The drainer disguises itself as legitimate walletconnect prompts, tricking users into signing malicious transactions. Poof—your ETH is now somebody else’s exit liquidity.

Who’s affected: Primarily Ethereum and BNB Chain users, though the malware’s operators clearly aren’t picky eaters when it comes to digital assets.
