The world's largest stablecoin issuer, Tether, has minted an additional $1 billion worth of USDT on the Tron network in the past 11 hours. Meanwhile, Circle has also minted 250 million USDC on the Solana network. Since the beginning of 2025, Tether has minted 3 billion USDT on Tron, while Circle has minted a total of 7.75 billion USDC on Solana.

Tether Investments SA de CV, the company behind the largest USDT stablecoin, has made an offer to buy a controlling share of Adecoagro SA, a prominent agricultural company in South America.
