USDC News - Circle’s USDC stablecoin has surpassed $60 billion in market cap for the first time, marking a new all-time high. According to Artemis Analytics, USDC now holds a 25.4% share of the stablecoin market, up from 20.7% three months ago. However, it still trails Tether’s USDT, which boasts a total value of $144 billion and accounts for about 63% of the stablecoin sector. The surge in USDC’s market cap comes amidst growing demand for stablecoins and significant regulatory changes. Over the past three months, approximately $16.5 billion in new USDC was minted, compared to the $4.7 billion of USDT that entered circulation during the same period.
