ES Futures are one of the most popular contracts traded on the CME Globex electronic trading platform. The “ES” in ES Futures stands for “E-mini S&P 500,” which is a stock market index futures contract based on the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index. Each ES Future contract represents $50 times the S&P 500 stock index.

What are es futures trading hours?

Well, as we mentioned earlier, these days are known as Es Futures Trading Hours because during these hours the market is open for trading in European stocks. However, there are other markets that are also open on Sundays such as the Japanese stock market.

When is the ES futures market open?

In general, the ES futures market is open for trading Sunday night through Friday night, every week. However, there are exceptions for the holidays, which can be found on the CME Holiday Calendar. There are trading hour alterations or closures around national holidays.
