Tamadoge Beats Ethereum ICO Fundraise by Over $16 Million

Play-to-earn new crypto Tamadoge has been attracting a lot of attention lately and it has now passed the $16 million mark as it seeks to sell out early.

 

The success of the presale means TAMA has now raised more funds than Ethereum – the second-biggest coin in crypto – did during its initial coin offering in 2014, as well as comfortably beating the $9.2m raised by move-to-earn project STEPN.

The Tamadoge presale has been a remarkably successful one given the wider crypto bear market and unfavorable macroeconomic conditions.

 

The community is growing more and more excited as the end of the presale draws close with exchange listings waiting on the horizon – the project has already confirmed that a listing on centralized exchange LBank will take place.

Fully audited and validated Tamadoge code

As one would hope for a project of this magnitude, all of the code for the TAMA token contract has been fully audited by Solid Proof.

 

The team themselves have also been personally KYC’d and verified by CoinSniper, and several of the core team members have publicly doxxed themselves.

 

Senior blockchain developer Siphamandla Mjoli, from South Africa, is the most recent addition to the team, though much of it comes from the UK. Neil Palethorpe is the recently appointed senior interaction designer, while Carl Dawkins is the head of growth and Thomas Seabrook is lead game developer.

 

To win $100,000 of TAMA tokens

As part of the ongoing promotion of the Tamadoge presale the team have decided to do a one-off giveaway of $100k of TAMA tokens.

 

In order to be eligible for the prize draw, users will be required to purchase at least $100 worth of TAMA.

Tamaverse Gateway

TAMA is to be the lifeblood of the Tamadoge ecosystem, and the “gateway to the Tamaverse”, since it is the native token of the Tamadoge metaverse. Holders of TAMA will be able to mint an NFT pet that they can look after, feed and grow before it becomes an adult.

 

Food, treats and toys will be bought in the pet store, with 5% of all transactions burned, before pets grow into adults where they can battle against one another to earn a place on the leaderboard – those at the top of the leaderboard will win rewards and prizes.

 

As well as a 2D website-based game going live before the end of 2022, later in the roadmap the 3D pets will leap off the screen as the project develops its augmented reality, with owners able to take their pets out into the real world to hunt for treasure and tokens.
