DYDX (dYdX)—A decentralized exchange dedicated to margin trading

What is DYDX?

Launched in September 2021, DYDX is the governance token for dYdX, a decentralized exchange on the Ethereum Layer 2 system StarkWare.

Cross-margin indefinite trading is offered starting in 2021. Users can deposit funds into their accounts and dYdX offers a variety of services, including staking, which earns interest. The platform accepts USDC collateral and is available with stable assets.

DYDX tokens allow traders, liquidity providers, and others to collaborate and manage the Layer 2 protocol. Token holders can participate in the governance process.

Current Momentum & Future Trend

Currently ranked 248th on CoinMarketCap with a market capitalization of over $69.34 million. The decentralized exchange saw a marked rise in November amid the FTX incident. DYDX soared to $2.68 on 15 November 2022, but at the time of writing it is trading at $1.00.

What is IMX?

IMX is the governor’s token for Immutable X. Developed by the Australian company Immutable, Immutable X is Ethereum’s layer 2 network for NFTs and the platform that powers the next generation of Web3 games.

IMX uses a technology called “ZK-Rollup” with “Zero Knowledge Proof” to solve Ethereum’s problems of low scalability and lag in developer experience, and significantly reduces the time spent on approvals.

While Ethereum is said to be able to process 16 transactions per second, IMX is said to be able to process over 9,000 transactions per second.

QTUM (Quantum)—Offering the Best of BTC and ETH

What is QTUM?

Released in September, 2017, QTUM(Quantum) is a proof-of-stake (PoS) smart contract open source blockchain that combines the features of both Bitcoin and Ethereum.

From Bitcoin, QTUM brings the high system stability and value preservation features (UTXO), which stands for Unspent Transaction Output, the address is re-issued and therefore more anonymous. From Ethereum, QTUM brings the Smart Contracts. 

As the mechanism itself is open-sourced, other coins have been created using this mechanism; there are more than 20 coins created on the blockchain. Quantum has an official wallet called Quantum Core, helping users to store private keys and public addresses to give you full control over your QTUM and QRC20 tokens.
