A few things you may not know about Litecoin (LTC)

1. It’s as old as Bitcoin: Litecoin was launched in 2011 (the same year as Bitcoin) as the “lite version of Bitcoin” by Charlie Lee who is a former Google engineer.

2. It’s four times faster than Bitcoin: Litecoin can process transactions in as little as 2.5 minutes, whereas Bitcoin can take up to 10 minutes.

3. It’s highly scalable: Scalability refers to a cryptocurrency’s ability to handle more transactions. Litecoin is able to process 56 transactions per second, while Bitcoin can only process 7 and Ethereum only 15 in a minute!
