Aave (AAVE) Price Prediction 2023,2025, 2030: Will AAVE Recover from Crypto Crash?

2023/01/06By: C, Fiona

The Aave protocol has had a rough go of it in 2022. During the summer of 2022, a total value locked (TVL) of about $100 billion was lost in the decentralized finance (DeFi) industry.

In October, however, as the protocol’s decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) readies the launch of its own stablecoin under the ticker GHO, the value of the protocol’s original AAVE token began to rebound.

As of this writing, AAVE has lost 31% of its value during the previous month due to the recent collapse of the FTX cryptocurrency exchange, which had previously been on an upward trend.

In this post, we’ll go over the Aave protocol, examine the historical price performance of AAVE tokens, and review expert commentary in an effort to come up with a reasonable AAVE price forecast for the rest of 2018 and beyond.

What is AAVE?

The Aave protocol’s AAVE token is used for voting and voting rights across all of its chains. Token holders of the AAVE cryptocurrency can cast votes on proposed changes to the Aave platform, such as the addition of additional assets. The protocol allows token holders to stake their AAVE coins in exchange for staking incentives and fees.

In the event that the Aave protocol has a shortage of liquidity, locked AAVE coins will be employed as a mitigation technique, as stated by Aave.

If there is a deficit, “in the occasion of a shortfall event, a portion of the locked AAVE are auctioned on the market to sell against the assets needed to ameliorate the occurring deficit,” Aave explained.

Aave, formerly known as ETHLend, held a token sale in September 2017 and raised around $600,000. After that, a $16.2 million ICO took place in which one billion LEND tokens were sold. As EthLEND transitioned to Aave, the LEND cryptocurrency was exchanged for AAVE tokens at a rate of 100 LEND to 1 AAVE.

Up to 16,000,000 AAVE tokens will ever be issued. According to data compiled by CoinMarketCap, the total number of AAVE coins in circulation was over 14 million as of November 21.

Will AAVE Recover from Crypto Crash?

Aave’s response to the ETH/ETC merger and the demise of FTX is recent news.

Aave’s DAO approved a proposal to keep operating on Ethereum’s updated blockchain this month, when Ethereum switched to a proof-of-stake (POS) consensus process. And it proposed that no Ethereum forks, including a possible fork to its previous proof-of-work (POW) consensus process, be implemented as a result of The Merge.

On August 26th, with a vote of 99 percent in favor, the proposal was approved, fulfilling its goal of communicating “a clear signal to the DeFi ecosystem about where it stands with respect to the Ethereum Merge” in its capacity as the fifth-largest DeFi app on the blockchain.

In the meantime, they have updated their community on the development of GHO, Aave’s stablecoin in the works. According to Aave, the GHO testnet will go live in the near future.

The latest information stated, “The Aave firms are now ready to experiment with the first testnet deployment, with the GHO technical document, initial audit, and access points under development.”

The current price drop of aave, however, is in keeping with the general trend of the cryptocurrency markets. The collapse of the centralized cryptocurrency exchange FTX has resulted in widespread selling pressure.

DeFi Llama reports that in the previous week, TVL for the protocol has plummeted by 9%, while aave’s token has lost 31% during the past month.

Aave (AAVE) Price Prediction 2024

Aave will make significant strides toward its goals over the next two years, and we anticipate that the 2024 Bitcoin halvening will jolt the crypto market into another bull run, which will positively affect the price of its coin.

We estimate that by the end of 2024, one Aave coin will be worth no less than $590.90. The highest possible price for the coin is estimated to be around $1,335.68. We forecast that, all year long in 2024, the average price of an AAVE token would be $1,070.55.

Aave (AAVE) Price Prediction 2025

By 2025, Aave plans to offer its services on a wide variety of different blockchains, increasing the number of coins available for lending. When the current bullish trend in Aave continues, the cryptocurrency will surge beyond the $1,500 threshold and reach a new all-time high of $1,953.92.

This is a gain of 193% from Aave’s current all-time high. Predictions for 2025 indicate that the price of Aave will range from $963.36 to $1,486.71 by year’s end.

Aave (AAVE) Price Prediction 2030

When bitcoin and DeFi are treated more favorably by regulators in 2030, more institutional investors will begin to pour money into Aave.

Our Aave coin price forecast for 2030 projects a value of $4,538.45 at the high end of our range of outcomes. The predicted range for Aave prices elsewhere is from $3,497.31 to $3,900.15.

If you’re a fan of decentralized lending and financing, Aave is a great investment option to consider. In addition, Aave is a great option for financiers interested in actively participating in proposals as part of such a protocol.

However, you shouldn’t assume that the future value of Aave can only rise. Things may appear favorable at the moment, yet unforeseeable elements always exist.

Whether or not regulations will prove to be a hindrance for Aave is now the largest unknown. Since Aave works in the DeFi sector and, more especially, lending, which may be subject to tougher regulation, it faces additional risks from the potential negative effects of legislation on the cryptocurrency industry as a whole.
