What is a Cex build if I have a PS3?

What you really want is a CEX build of Custom firmware (CFW) if you have a compatible PS3. What does CEX do better than a CFW ? CEX is basically a retail model (the ones you buy at a store) of the ps3 while DEX is a developer kit.
